When I first thought of doing a round guide I was just going to write down where all the objects were but a long list with "forth tree left a bit - explosion, etc" looked naff so here's gfx's of all the rounds! The vertical rounds are still to do and I don't know when they'll be finished. Contributions to this section are welcome ;) This page may take ages to load so I've not included the backdrops with the pics.

[ ROUNDS 1 - 7 ] [ ROUNDS 8 - 14 ] [ ROUNDS 15 - 22 ] [ ROUNDS 23 - 27 ]

Key:
F is a fixed position stone always containing a set item.
JP is a stone revealed by jumping at that point.
WO is a stone revealed by walking over that point.
P means that a special power is in this stone.
Below the round is details of what is in each set stone and a couple of notes.

ROUND 1:round 1 pic

Notes: Pretty cool first round. Make sure you stay back as long as possible because you can collect all the powers here and earn tons of points from the Dragon Riders.

F1 =     JP1 =     JP2 =

ROUND 2:

JP1 =     JP2 =     JP3 =

Notes: Another fairly easy round. The main scoring on this one is from the Explosion and 10k mutant stacks.

ROUND 3:

JP1 =

Notes: Easy so far, eh? Not too much danger on this round, I wish they'd put the Giant Fish from round 21 in here.

ROUND 4:

JP1 =     JP2 =     JP3 =

Notes: There's sometimes an extra life on this round. If it doesn't appear in one of the first three non-JP stones it's not gonna appear at all. The easiest way to kill the Giant Demon at the end of the round is to jump up onto the tree branch and press jump when he's directly under you.

ROUND 5:

Not available.

Notes: The first of the vertical rounds which are the easiest stages in the game. This let's you take a bit of a break!

ROUND 6:

Notes: The "Mutant Village" as I call it is quite a challenging round. The mutants come out of the mud huts in groups of 7-10 and run across the top of the hill. This causes a few problems as you never quite know when they'll jump down and charge. There's often a small pause when no mutants will appear from the huts and you should use this time to run under the dangerous bits and grab and Explosion. Take your time but try to avoid a time out if possible. Avoid jumping too because this usually ends in the Mutant Frog leaping from off screen and killing you!

There's often an extra Explosion item in one of the first couple of stones.

JP1 =     JP2 =

ROUND 7:

Notes: If you haven't died yet and you have all the powers then the Cross power is most likely to appear in the second to last stone. If you have died or haven't got all the powers it's most likely to be one of the first two.
