Product Overview:
Rygar®: The Legendary Adventure™ is an action/adventure game for the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system. A rebirth of the NES 8-bit classic, this "AAA" action title takes a Hollywood-style approach to game-making with grand-scale environments, impressive pre-rendered and real-time movies, and heart-stopping action. Inspired by Greco-Roman mythology, this game promises to give players the full cinematic experience with awe-inspiring graphics and an epic musical soundtrack.   The player is immersed into every aspect of the game, no longer just controlling the hero, but truly becoming Rygar.

Brief Story:
Taking place on an Island in the Mediterranean Sea called Argus, Rygar: The Legendary Adventure, tells the tale of a noble warrior determined to save the Princess Harmonia and bring the Island of Argus back to a state of peace.

For his contribution and bravery during The Great Sea Battle, which ultimately brought the Island of Argus to victory, Princess Harmonia was honoring Rygar in a magnificent ceremony. During the celebration, ravenous monsters called "Titans" emerged from the land, destroying not only Rygar's homeland, but abducting his beloved Princess Harmonia.

In the midst of this chaos deep cracks were formed in the island's surface, creating a dark and mysterious underworld. Before realizing what was happening, Rygar was swallowed by this underworld. While there, a Goddess approached and informed him that in order to destroy the Titans and save the Princess, he must depend on his almighty diskarmor; which becomes the essential tool in his quest for victory.

The Diskarmor and some of its uses:
·        An essential survival tool, used not only as a weapon but as a divine, spiritual artifact.
·        Deadly spikes extend from its center allowing you to kill the enemy by hurling your weapon.
·        Pierce your enemies to swing them around and destroy others in your path.
·        Slice through enemies that are suspended in mid air.
·        Swing the Diskarmor and slam it on the ground to shock enemies in your way.
·        Use the Diskarmor as a catapult to transport you from one destination to the next.
·        Destroy the surrounding environments with the force of the mighty Diskarmor.
