This
site is dedicated to one of my favourite games ever - Legendary
Warrior RYGAR,
orginally made by TECMO in 1986. This is a tribute
to not only the orginal Rygar arcade game, but it's numerous
conversions and of course the new PS2 sequel - Rygar: The
Legendary Adventure.
The site will aim to find out everything possible about all
the Rygar games from hints and tips to unsolved
mysteries and the games history.
Heard anything about the new Rygar or know more about the old versions? EMAIL me about it!

News: 19 August 2002
There hasn't
been much news from Tecmo until Brian posted this bit of info...
"The bosses at the end of each level are like none I have
seen before. They're huge and will pummel you into pieces if your
not careful. There are many varities of the Diskarmor, you must
learn each technique as you go along in the game. Wait till your
able to take this diskarmor and swing it around like a peice of
metal slashing everything in it's path, deadly! Not to mention
Fun!"

After so long
without an update to my old Rygar site people were asking if
there was ever going to be another again. With so much done there
didn't seem too much more to write about. Then earlier last week
I heard about the Rygar sequel, went to the Tecmo website and
could hardly believe my eyes! Now that a Rygar sequal has
(finally!) been offically announced, I've decided to restart the Rygar
Info Site again and hopefully go into as much depth with the new
game as I did with the arcade version! (The Arcade Forever
playing guides will be back sometime soon and available again
when I get round to uploading them...)
Quote from Tecmo's Rygar Bulletin Board - "Inspired by the original Rygar for NES, Rygar: The Legendary Adventure is an action/adventure game for PlayStation 2. Based on Greek Mythology this Greco-Roman adventure game is heavily influenced by popular action movies such as Gladiator and Clash of the Titans. With grand landscapes and awesome gameplay, Rygar will surely live up to its expectations. "
At the moment it's still mainly about the arcade game and the computer/console versions, but in time I hope to keep updated about the new Rygar game. I'll try to get some new gfx for the site soon too <g>....
