SHARP X68000

The Sharp X68000 is not a computer I am very familiar with but here is some information sent in by Graham Wobcke about it:

Rygar on the X68000 is indeed a 'perfect' port, all the way down to the way the roms detect and checksum. It even 'emulates' dip switch settings. The specs on a X68000 are as follows:

The Sharp X68000 was launched only in Japan in 1987.
CPU: Motorola MC68000 CPU running at 10MHz
RAM: 1MB (upgradable to 12MB)
Video RAM: 1MB (512K graphic + 512K text)
ROM: 1MB
OS: Human 68K 1.0 + VS
Display: 64K colours at 256x240, 256x256 & 512x512.
         16 colours at 640x480, 768x512 & 1024x1024
Sound: Yamaha FM synthesis - Stereo

These specs made it more powerful than the Amiga.
